By comprehensively assisting the campus with international-related inquiries and facilitating the presence of internationals at UGA, ISSIS contributes to the development and maintenance of a dynamic and intercultural learning environment; supports growing world-wide research endeavors; and assists all students and the University with greater opportunities for success in the global economy.
ISSIS is committed to providing accurate and timely information pertaining to constantly evolving federal regulations governing the stay of internationals at the University of Georgia. We offer relevant outreach and education pertaining to immigration matters. Through our work we strive to create the foundations for welcoming, globally diverse partnerships, and to support UGA’s educational, research and internationalization goals for the 21st century.
